Social Groups

The Spectrum Social offers weekly social groups for children and youth. These social groups provide a unique and supportive opportunity to connect with peers, engage in fun activities, and develop social skills in a comfortable, inclusive environment. Groups are coordinated based on age and participant needs, and are kept small to ensure meaningful experiences.

Each session includes exciting community outings designed to promote social interaction and create lasting friendships. Outings are carefully planned to provide personalized support and offer children the chance to play, explore, and enjoy recreational activities, while caregivers can enjoy respite time to themselves.

Groups are held in various cities throughout the GTA and surrounding areas to ensure families have access to convenient locations. Parents/guardians provide drop off and pick up to activity location.

Hamilton:

Join us Tuesday evenings in April! This four-week series will have your child taking part in bowling, laser tag, nature walks, pottery painting, and games.

Ages: 8-13

Dates: Tuesday April 8, 15, 22, 29

Times: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Cost: $420 for entire series. All tax, snacks, and activity costs included. Ask us about how you can use SSAH, ACSD, or respite funding.

*Activities subject to change at the discretion of Spectrum Social based on weather and participant needs. Finalized schedule will be provided upon registration.

Toronto:

Join us Wednesday evenings in April! This four-week series will have your youth taking part in nature walks, indoor rock climbing, games, and more.

Ages: 14-17

Dates: Wednesday April 9, 16, 23, 30

Times: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Cost: $420 for entire series. All tax, snacks, and activity costs included. Ask us about how you can use SSAH, ACSD, or respite funding.

Join us Thursday evenings in April! This four-week series will have your child taking part in crafts, science experiments, games, bowling, laser tag, nature walks, and an evening at We Rock the Spectrum!

Ages: 6-11

Dates: Thursday April 3, 10, 17, 24

Times: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
